An expansive blend of US hops give a resinous mouthfeel – big citrus & tropical fruit flavours, which are prominent, yet well balanced.

Cask at Wheatsheaf, Stoke on Trent. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Tropical fruits dominate the aroma but there’s hints of floral hops too. In the mouth there’s a brief burst of sweetness before bitter hops quickly assert themselves. Citrus and mango are in the mix as well with traces of alcoholic strength and tropical fruits coming through later. Finish is quite bitter. This is really rather nice.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a thin white head; aroma of orange and grapefruit; oily in the mouth juicy orange and grapefruit and some bitter citrus zest followed by some chewy malts and a gentle warmth in the belly. Rather good.

Pours a clear golden colour with a small thin white head that quickly disappeared. The aroma is citrusy with some light grassy notes. A moderately sweet and fruity taste, grapefruit, orange, light grass flavours with a moderate, juicy hoppy, bittersweet finish.
