On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, not much else. Flavour is light-bodied, with toasted malt and dry cocoa. Light and watery but nothing wrong with it. Okay.

Canned March 22nd 2016.
It pours a very dark brown with reddish hues, good head of off white foam, plenty of lacing.
I get cocoa nibs, coffee in the smell. Very little bitterness and it is not strong in the malt department either other than some roast.
Cocoa nibs bring some sweet notes, roasted malt well represented, getting some dark fruits that don’t quite impart some tartness or do they? I would say yes but it seems, only when I swish the beer in my mouth.
Light bodied with light carbonation. This could use a boost.
Overall, I enjoyed this, my second can. The other 4 will be easy to drink.

Can sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Denny. Dark brown with a nice cream beige head. Aroma of malt, nuts, a bit of fruitiness, and a hoppy touch. Sweetish flavor, nutty, with caramel, a bit of chocolate, a fruity note, and a dry finish, mildly bitterish. Medium-bodied. More like a Brown Ale.
