Stainless Forest is a New England style Double IPA hopped with Simcoe, Ekuanot, Amarillo, and Cascade creating enormous hop flavors and aromas of tangerine zest, pine sap, dank cannabis, and ripe cantaloupe. Stainless Forest is named after the tanks used to make beer. Many times the tanks begin to feel like tall trees in the brewery, a vast stainless steel forest of fermentors.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque yellow-light brown, greenish yeast globs that sink to the bottom (reminiscent of fish excrement), no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is initial burst of strong alcohol that quickly fades to citrus, sweet fruit along tropical lines. Taste is initial burst of alcohol again, but above that is strong, nondescript fruit (more melon than citrusy), grainy malts with late citrus burst and gum--hard to pin down exactly. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, granular texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, unfortunate look with the yeast--don't get stuck with the bottom of the can if sharing! Strong alcohol bursts to aroma and taste are unfortunate but is followed by intriguing mix of aromas/flavors. Overcomes its shortcomings.

16 oz. can solo domed. No date. Aroma is grapefruit, mild pine, slight scallion. Flavor is juicy grapefruit, very mild pine, and soft malt. Mouthfeel is pillowy and soft, juicy texture. One of the more original New England IPA’s. Leans on the pine / scallion side.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of intense citrusy and tropical notes floral undertones. Taste is a mix of dank hoppy notes with some citrusy and tropical notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Another crazy IPA with loads of floral hops and no discernible bitterness.

Poured from can dated 5/10/18 hazy pineapple with a thin white head. Aroma is light scallion citrus floral hops and pine. Tall can (thx, Eric D.!). Canned on 2017-09-20. Pours a murky golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits with some mimosa notes. Slightly sweet, very juicy. Similar taste with crazy juiciness. Full-bodied. Tropical fruits and flowery bitterness aftertaste. Very nice.

Can. Pours quite hazy yellow, medium white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is a bit dank, juicy, orange, mango, pint, a bit of leafy pot, green garlic. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Another Vermont brewery making high quality IPA's. Shocking.
