Malheur 10: rose-like, peachy aroma. Orangey, lemon-grass and lemon-curd, flavours. Rich, oily, honeyed, texture. Medium to full body. Big, orange-zest and a hint of bitter sourness.
After-taste
beer with a warming finish
Afdronk
bier met een aangename licht bittere toets

33 cl bottle. Hazy honey gold color. Small creamy white head. Fruity malt nose has apricot notes. Effervescent, fruity, yeasty malt flavor upfront. Tart, fruity notes bring to mind apricot and melon. Syrupy sweet, candy-like tendencies. Boozy, dryish hoppy notes in finish. Intersecting if not interesting.

Bottle. Unclear golden color with big creamy white head that goes down comparably quickly. Aroma is flowery, fruit esters, fresh yeast, honey, comparably complex, but accessible nonetheless. Taste is honey, estery, some overripe apricots with alcohol, nearly liqueur-like. Warming finish, high carbonation (but not too high), foamy soft mouthfeel. Among the most Belgian things ever, but it totally works! Much better than expected.

Pours clear golden yellow with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma contains citrus, orange peel, malt, hay, pepper and herbs - all delicately balanced. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium hoppy, spicy bitter. Oily texture and fizzy carbonation. The alcohol is very well hidden. Great balance, and despite the ABV it makes for a good apéritif.
