Tasting at SF
Cloudy dull blond color. Random Sour/Farmhouse beer that combines a mild spicy character with vegetables, vanilla, sweet liquorice.
Very messy.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart apricots, light acidity, and moderate sweetness. Flavour is moderately acidic, with subdued tart apricots, light acidity and even some lactose-like sweetness. Lacking complexity, with a fairly thin palate. It's okay.

Cloudy tan. Aroma of kettle sour and apricot. On the palate, the apricot character isn’t bad, but the base beer is a bit muddled and yeasty. It’s decent.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, tart peaches, light sulfur, mint, fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, tart apricot jam, light acidity, light Epsom salts, light Brett, very nice and complex. Bottle at Hugue and Alex tasting.

Babyfood peach and lemon, funk nose. Hazy amber, thick head. Tart and funky, lemon and peach. Light body, fizzy, warm. Not a lot of complexity, but good.

500 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas big apricot, peach, pineapple, berry, mango, melon, lemon, pear, wheat, cracker, light honey, hay, straw, grass, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, apricots, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big apricot, peach, pineapple, berry, mango, melon, lemon, pear, wheat, cracker, light honey, hay, straw, grass, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Light yeast spiciness and slight fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, peach, pineapple, berry, mango, melon, lemon, pear, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, apricots, and moderate pale malt sweetness; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly acidic mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Brett saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, apricots, and moderate pale malt sweetness; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the high carbonation. A very enjoyable offering.
