The world needs heroes, and in our home state of Florida only a very special hero will do. A hero with a shark tooth around his neck, a Grim Reaper tattoo on his arm, and a rap sheet longer than his mama’s mustache. A hero who’s forgotten more about amateur taxidermy and alligator rasslin’ than you’ll ever know. What better way to pay tribute to our beloved Florida Man than with a big ol’ Double India Pale Ale brewed with a nearly-criminal amount of hops and a moderate bitterness that just about matches Florida Man’s general disposition. This hopped-up whopper of a beer is big in character and guaranteed to sear itself into your memory, just like “the world’s worst superhero,” Florida Man.

Bottle tanks to Brian, thanks! Pours a near clear amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines sweet grains and sweet citrus with a bit of pine and resin supporting. Flavor has a food amount of sweet grains with a bit of sweet fruits and a touch of bitter citrus.

Thanks Chris for bringing this back from FL. Bomber, split 2 ways fridge temp, stemware. Dark reddish orange color. Aroma of grapefruit, malts, sweet brown sugar and pine cones. Assuming this is fresh, the taste is not that great. Malt forward, very west coast with a lot of pine and some tropical fruits sweet, lots of residual sugars. Not a fan.

22 oz. bottle hand carried back from CCB. Dirty amber in color with a mix of aroma. Mild fruit with and earthy herbal tone. Maybe syrup like quality. The flavor has the fruit underneath a syrupy, sugar texture. Light floral notes with a lasting bitterness. This is right on the edge of falling off, drink these bottles if you got them!

Poured from bottle which was bottled on 3/5/15 thanks Airforcehops. Nice orange color with a thin white head. Aroma of pine orange caramel and hop. Taste is somewhat syrupy with citrus and hop and a slightly lingering bitter finish.

22oz bottle pours a clear orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose has chive and onion patch, some dank hop, white grape, some saw dust. Flavor is sweet, honey, chive, onion, a little birch syrup, lots of honey. Full, sticky finish. Smells ok, but fell off.
