The world needs heroes, and in our home state of Florida only a very special hero will do. A hero with a shark tooth around his neck, a Grim Reaper tattoo on his arm, and a rap sheet longer than his mama’s mustache. A hero who’s forgotten more about amateur taxidermy and alligator rasslin’ than you’ll ever know. What better way to pay tribute to our beloved Florida Man than with a big ol’ Double India Pale Ale brewed with a nearly-criminal amount of hops and a moderate bitterness that just about matches Florida Man’s general disposition. This hopped-up whopper of a beer is big in character and guaranteed to sear itself into your memory, just like “the world’s worst superhero,” Florida Man.

Je ne pouvais pas vraiment ne pas me prendr eun bon verre de CCB, quitte à ce que cela se fasse en Norvège.
Couleur dorée pâle, col blanc.
Arôme est 'dank' de suite m vient en t^te la belle époque de dipa américaine - cette version ne déroge pas à la règle - bouquet résineux, pine sap, hop boiled bag, légère effluve d'abricot en retrait.
Palais est dans une approche classique américaine - bien résineux avec une petite once de douceur, qcq notes agrumes - pamplemousse, bourgeons de pin, fini caramel pâle, le tout sur un effet Jai-Alai avec plus de corps.

12 fl.oz. can. A clear yellow golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of juicy hops, citrus and grapefruit. Taste of grapefruit, citrus, wheat malt. Long bitter finish. Good!

hazy pale golden colour, moderate sized off-white head; aroma of pine resiny, pear, grapefruity, pineapple and some biscuity notes; bittery-hop-dominant taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some dill; great DIPA

Draught at As Is: pours slightly hazy with white head. Aroma is orange juice and pineapple. Taste is lightly bitter and extremely juicy. Transitional style. Good.

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of heady citrus, pine and resin. Taste is more of the same. Bitter green finish.

12oz can. Pale yellow pour with a modest white head. Sweet aroma of tropical and citrus hops. Heavy hops flavor, lots of citrus sweet and lingering bitterness. Grapefruit and pine. Very balanced and smooth.

Hazy pale yellow colour with thin wispy head. Has the very familiar full malty feel of many an American IPA. Also slightly skunky. Very full flavoured. Surprisingly punchy.

AROMA: After pouring, immediately hit with sour scent of hemp. Then sweeter undertones of lemon, bubble gum, and banana started peeking through.
APPEARANCE: Pours a cloudy, yellow-orange with a medium head that is tightly frothy and dissipates slowly with significant lacing.
TASTE: Slightly bitter with notes of lemon, grass, hops, and pine.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied, medium carbonation, and a little tacky on the tongue. Finish is on the bitter side but fades quickly.
OVERALL: I'm not really impressed with this beer. It's nice, but there are tons of other "nice" beers to choose from nowadays. I do have to say that I really don't taste the alcohol like I do in other high ABV beers. But I definitely feel the alcohol after downing one of these. I'm not really sure I would buy this again. Mainly due to the fact that there are other, readily available, Imperial/Double IPAs that I prefer much more, and they cost the same or less, as this beer. Having said that, I'm certainly not disappointed with my decision to purchase this.
