Bottle at home on 30th January 2025 from Duty Free at Brussels Eurostar Terminal earlier this evening. Pours a clear gold with thick yet collapsing whitish foam and spot lacing. Herby grasses in aroma with a malty undertone. Rich spiced and tangy fruitiness in-mouth, and a finish of candied peel and yeastiness. Medium to full bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.

0.33 l bottle from 'AH XL' (Roermond), best before January 2024. Clear, golden with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-grassy aroma of lemon peel, grains and some fresh grass. Fairly sweet, perfumy, rather yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral and a bit grassy taste of grains, peach, lemon peel, bubblegum, banana, clove, honey and some alcohol, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly dry and a bit boozy finish. Medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Belgian-style ale, a bit too perfumy and boozy, still nicely crisp and dry with a decent amount of hops.

Color anaranjado, turbia, espuma blanca de conservación media-alta. Aroma discreto pero agradable con notas de levadura, cereal, lúpulo fresco, algo de paja, malta... En boca, es de cuerpo medio, burbuja fina que produce agradable sensación en la lengua, notas de cereal, heno, especias...Nada extraordinario pero si muy correcto, agradable de beber, se disfruta.

Clear golden with a frothy white head. gentle spicy yeast notes, fruit, a touch sweet. A bit of zest in the finish. It’s simple and clean and great for a pint with dinner.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, large white head. Aroma: Yeasty, malty, fruity hints of stone fruit and citrus fruit. Taste: Very yeasty, malty, bit sugary, fruity hints of citrus zest, a little stone fruit and some spices (clove?). Over moderate sweet. Light to moderate hopbitterness in the background. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok.
