A Rotterdam Pale Ale dryhopped with the American hops Citra & Mosaic. Karel is fruity in the nose with passion fruit, grapefruit, and a hint of hay and citrus in the background. The refreshing fruity flavors end in a slightly bitter and thirst-quenching aftertaste.

Cloudy, amber colored, moderate- creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is some caramel malt, strong tropical fruit and citrus hops. Taste is moderate- sweet caramel malt background and tropical fruits, citrus hops, orange and grapefruit, medium aroma (expected more according to the nose) and medium to light bitterness, some biscuity doughy notes near the finish, dry. Low to medium bodied and a lively carbonation. (0,33l bottle, Beerightback, Nova Gorica, SLO)

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a generous head. Nose - big orange waft as the bottle is opened. Taste - more of the same. Almost into marmalade. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - very enjoyable. Tastes much bigger than the ABV suggests.
