Bottle pours a deep clear deep mahogany dark brown. Fleeting off white head. Up front cold old coffe grounds and ashtray aroma with a little chocolate. Flavor is coffe and sweet roasted malts with plenty of coffee. The body is thn and a bit dry. More like a porter. Quick finish especially for a "stout"

On tap at The Taphouse, pours dark brown with a black head. Aroma of roasted malt, light espresso and light cocoa. Flavour of mocha, burnt espresso and roasted malt. Very solid.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours ruddy copper with a one finger beige head. Aroma is coffee. Not sure about the chocolate. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is really coffee. Takes awhile for the chocolate to show up, but it outlasts the coffee. This is stark. They really put a lot into this one. Whoof.

Sample from bomber. Somewhat spicy in the nose; coffee comes out obviously. Pours reddish amber with a medium head, nice lacing. Taste is very coffee. Creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation, medium body. Very yummy.

Bottle: Pours a deep brown color with a large, fizzy beige head. I drank this in a Coca-Cola fountain glass at my inlaw’s house... damn near looked more like coke than a beer. Other than that massive coffee aroma permeating the room. Kind of sweet too. Like coffee with a bunch of sweetener added. Heavy coffee presence in the taste with minimal cocoa sweetness. I love espresso infused brews, but this was branched off more as a traditional coffee taste. Good.
