Unlabeled bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Blonde, cloudy with chunks of yeast. Soft citrus aroma. Citric, alcoholic flavor. Malty but not sweet. Fairly well balanced.

Bottled. Deep goldeny orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish, some mild floral and yeasty notes as well. Flavour is dry fruits, some sweetness along with yeast and some mild spicy notes.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As De Prael Sjakie ].Clear medium yellow - amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy yeasty, dried fruit, fruity, yeast, minerals. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, yeasty, dried fruit, anis seed, spicy yeast, wood notes, mineral notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20140207]

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack hefig, malzig süß, fruchtig, Gewürze.

(Draught at De Prael Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 22 Feb 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel and marmalade. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, honey, coriander and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with balanced sweetness. Well made and tasty tripel. Nice one.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of eggs, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, vitamins, and yeast, leading to a dry finish.
