Sampled from the bottle and Winter Dabbler. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of grassy hops with a growing pine note and a bit of a bread backbone. Flavor has a decent amount of pine a bit of bitter citrus and a bit of grain backing.

Bottle. Bright copper color with great clarity, thick sandy head. Thick sheets of lacing. The nose is pretty bright with citrus and pine. Toasty malts. A little malty sweet up front, then floral bitterness comes through. Light on the citrus… light on the hops actually. A little bready malt flavor comes through. Finishes with a lingering, but slightly soapy bitterness. Not a bad IPA, but when you say hoppy and come from the PNW…

Sample as part of a blind IPA tasting. The beer is a dark copper color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of floral hops, fruit and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft - Hoppy citrus and bit of resinous pine. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Resinous and pithy bitterness with a quick finish. OK.

On tap at Northwest, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out gentle piney hops, some citrus and dry crackery malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with sharp spicy hops dominating, with a dry crackery malt backing. Decently balanced, though a tad abrasive. Okay.

Hazy dull amber-tan, thin head. Light grapefruit nose. A light toasty, and a little pithy but definitely husky.

Draft pour at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a solid copper color with a thin film head. A wet, mild hop, rich malt aroma and flavor. I’d say a bit more malty than hoppy. Not that it’s a bad thing, though it contradics the description. Decently bitter finish. This isn’t a great IPA, but it’s good, and I’ll try again.

16oz can pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a dirty white head. The timid aroma offers up malts, a touch of caramel, some sweet citrus hard candy and then pine resin and floral hops out the back. The taste begins soft and somewhat sweet with citrus, malts and floral hops. To midway pine resiny mixed with a sliver of caramel malts bubble to the surface. So the bitter somewhat resiny hops and malts aren’t working all that great. Still pretty decent IPA.

Bottle thanks to Duchammer: Poured a hazy copper orange with a white head. Malt aroma along with light hops. Gritty hops and malt. Does not live up to the name.
