Niets zo vervelend als na een lange dag werk in de zinderende hitte zin in bier, maar er is geen bier. De Engelsen begrepen dat al in de 17e eeuw, en voegden wat extra hop en alcohol toe aan het bier dat houdbaar moest blijven gedurende de maandenlange reis overzee naar India. Onze India Pale Ale (IPA) is daar de hedendaagse, drinkvriendelijke variant op.
Maar liefst vijf citrusachtige hopsoorten geven onze amberkleurige India Pale Ale verrassend frisse tonen. Door de typisch bloemige en dennige tonen, en licht moutige smaak, is het bier heerlijk fris en niet te bitter in de afdronk. De Highhops wordt gebrouwen met toepassing van onze dry-hopping techniek.
Een geliefde IPA.

Tasted from the tap on the 04/03/2016 at Barcelona Beer Festival. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, malts, fruits and some floral notes. Taste is medium sweet and hoppy finish. Next one please!

Würzig grasig-hopfiger Antrunk. Geringe Bitterkeit, etwas blumig, ab dem Mittelteil trocken werdend. Eher kurzer hopfiger Abgang, trocken aber rund. Nett! 7/10/11/11/7/9

Amber colored, unclear, medium white frothy head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, fruity and citrusy, some floral notes. Taste is medium sweet caramalt, fruity, citrus grapefruity, some floral, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, moderately hoppy.

Ambar nebulosa. Un dedo de espuma. Aroma a pino, herbal, con notas de caramelo. En boca es muy equilibrada, perfecta de gas con un punto punzante que acentúa el amargor final, sabor frutal, naranja, uva, pomelo y base acaramelada.

330ml bottle. Light hazy orange color with almost white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, pine, citrusy fruity, grapefruit. Sweet and biter taste like aroma with orange being the dominant flavor. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
