A new year-round beer. With a darker golden color and some of the most popular citrusy IPA hops, as well as Sterling for a bit of spiciness in the finish, this IPA is hoppy like a Northwest IPA should be. Five different hops and a soft malt backing make for one great, easy-drinking ale.

Bottle. Light citrusy aroma with a bit of malt. Light flavour, citrus and floral. Finish has a bit of soap which brings it down. Good mouthfeel

Draft. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Spice and light citrus aroma. Spice and light grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. OK bitterness. Spice and grapefruit linger with light malt.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours clear copper with a creamy white head. Aroma is mildly roasty malt with some citrus notes. Deep inhale suggests pepper? Med body or better. Flavor is citrus and more citrus, with subdued roasty backbone and something very like pepper (black not chili) builds up for the finish. It’s not harsh NW superhop, but it certainly relates. Maybe it’s not too harsh NW superhop. Nice to see a good new ale with the Portland label.
