Bottle @ home. Cloudy yellow orange appearance with a moderate sized, off white head and poor retention. Poor raspberry purée/additive, tangy tart aroma. Raspberry soda, sweet wheat malty, juice box, syrupy flavor. For what it is, it isn’t bad. Probably could be a decent seller for them and I won’t have any problems pounding this bottle in a couple of minutes.

(bottle) Unappealing hazy yellow with thin white head. Intense aroma of artificial raspberry cordial with hints of cough syrup. Palate is quite acceptable, light bodied with pleasant carbonation. The flavour is shocking. A watery start develops suddenly into a so-so berry taste which quickly develops some very nasty harsh bitter, metallic flavours which last a long time. Overall, really quite an unpleasant beer.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy pale gold with about a finger of fizzy white head. Aroma of a blue-raz sno-cone from an over-priced county fair vendor. Taste is light sweet. Same blue-raz taste. Absolutely disgusting aftertaste. It’s like a honeybadger who ate spoiled raspberries shit down my throat. Light bodied with a sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, pretty bad. Glad I got this as a single instead of an entire 6-pack.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dirty/hazy orange gold with a creamy/fizzy white head. Nice raspberry aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is fairly artificial raspberry - but they say it’s natural - so? There’s a detectable wheat aspect. This is so much better than the "lemon shandy". Which isn’t really saying all that much. Finishes sort of dry with raspberry.

Purchased on my trip to Vegas at the Total Wine store. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small white cap that leaves decent lacing. Very nice smelling raspberry scent with hints of oranges and wheat. Very light tartiness in the mouthfeel, but just made to go down easy. The taste is a bit milder than the aromas, but still well-balanced between the fruit and the grain. Really not bad at all coming from AB (especially the part written about using the stuff at the bottom of the bottle).

sample from bottle at Brew Haven fest - Okay, I admit it. This sample was for the ratings whore in me. It pours very cloudy straw colored and smells of raspberry. The flavor is sweet, rather artificial tasting raspberries with some wheat distinguishable in this light bodied beer. I can drink it, but it’s mediocre.

Sampled at the NoVa Summer Beer Fest in Leesburg, VA on 6/25/11. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of candied raspberry, citrus. The taste is artificial raspberries and grainy wheat notes. Medium bodied. About what you’d expect.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small bright white head that dissapates fairly quickly. Pretty good lacing, low carbonation, medium body, raspberry aroma, and syrupy texture. Taste is medicinal rapberry syrup and finishes light wheat. Not interested in having again.

Cloudy yellow, modest head. Pleasing raspberry nose, which was a big surprise. Flavor hints at raspberry candy, kinda fake raspberry, wheaty, a touch bland. Balanced, medium to lightish body.
