Draft - Caramel malts. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Caramel and a touch of grain and orange. Decent but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a dark orange with no head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor has toast, and some caramel. Finishes doughy. Nothing really stands out about this beer, but it’s very much drinkable. Not bad.

Rich deep amber coloured body with a light brown glow and a thick, three centimetre tall very soapy and broad bubbled tan head - ugly. Aroma of nuts, earth, copper, metal, water and some light soap - not too pleasant. Light to Medium-bodied; Good malty flavour with some earth and nuts up front fading to an apple, pear, figs, raisins and a little light hoppy flavour. Aftertaste shows mostly fruits with a big malty touch and a light caramel and toffee sweetness at the very end. Overall, a decent beer with some confusing flavours and a good sweetness, but a beer to try if you really like the style, otherwise, a decent offering. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 04-October-2013 for US$1.85 sampled at home in Upstate, New Paltz, New York on 10-May-2014.

Bottle: Poured a coppery orange color with a thin off white head. Aroma is rich malt. Taste is leafy and caramel malts, leaves a dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Poured deep red with thin white head. Aroma of malt and toast. Full body with malty, roasty and hoppy noats. Lekker finish with more malty notes. Good enow and light enough to be a session beer.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty caramel aroma with some weak hints of hops. Sweetish malty slightly fruity caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints.

Bottle Pours a clear tawney residh brown witha very large fluffy off-white head. Lots of clinging chunky lacing. Slightly off stale paper malt aroma with a sllight hint of bitterness. Wody lightly carmelized malt flavor with aa paper slightly sour trailer. easy on the bittering but just enough pucker at the end. Not quite in a good way though. Nice body, not too thin and soft carbonation. A quaffer I suppose, but not particularly interesting.

Aroma of malt, maybe a bit of yeast. Or not. Amber color with a decent off-white head. Not quite medium bodied. Starts malty. Perhaps a bit of stone fruit character. There is some bitter, might be the hops are fruity. Finish is light caramel malt with light fruit and bitter.

Bottle: Pours a clear copper with a smaller off white head. Just what I’d expect from an Irish Ale. No real lacing to speak of. Aroma is malty and earthy, some caramel. Taste is malty, earthy, caramels, and some light hops. Finish is nice and crisp with a good balance of malt to hops.
