Old rating from 22/10/14 - 354ml bottle brought back from Arizona by my wife. It pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, caramel, citrus, bread, pine, grass & pale malt. Medium body. Mildly bitter finish. Very enjoyable

12oz bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a booming billowing off white head. Uh oh. Not a good start to this rate. The aroma offers up lemon and lime tartness as well as sweeter citrus and malty notes. It doesn’t taste as messed up as it looks. I get bitter grapefruit and lemon citrus flowing quickly into malt sweetened tangelo. Amid the bitter citrus it gets a tad juicy even just as the pale ale almost biscuit maltiness bubbles to the surface. This is pretty nice even in poor shape as this is.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 3/3/14, as Doc's Pale Ale
Aroma: The aroma is mild but solid, some citrus, pine, and floral hop notes
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange-gold color with a small head and good lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, light sweet, with a clean medium hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, clean and drinkable, with a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a solid, enjoyable, balanced example of the style. Not a standout, just a nice beer. Certainly worth trying.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden body under a dense off-white head. Pine cones and citrus on the nose, malty hints too. A bit thin on the palate, smooth and semi-dry, with a good bitterness. Pine cones, citrus peel and oranges in the flavor. Long bitter finish. A very decent pale ale. 130818

Tap at brewpub. Pours orange yellow with white head. Nice citrus nose. Tastes of grapefruit, grass, floral, grains, and light hops. Refreshing but not a lot of depth

Bottle thanks to fata2683: Poured a golden with a fluff off white head. Aroma is strong on pine and citrus hops with a fruitiness. Taste is mild hops with nice malts and fresh grain. The flavor is a little let down after such a bold nose, but seems very good overall.
