On tap at Renaissance YEG. Clear dark amber under a two finger off white head that fades slowly and leaves lots of tight lace. Nose is caramel, pine, citrus and some grass. Light+ caramel sweetness and a medium pine and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a lingering lightly bitter finish. Average. 7/4/6/3/12+

On tap at Fox on 6th. Pours golden to amber, crystal clear, some greenish tinges. Persistent, off-white head. Aroma is medium to high: roses, orange blossom, dandelion. Flowery. Mouthfeel is boozy, powerful, very bitter. Long-lasting finish. Nice, despite the low score.

Nice foamy head and okay yellowish body with modest carbonation. Yes, there are sweet hops on the nose, probably only one kind, very everpresent which is great but not entirely complex. Flavour is a bitter mix of hoppiness with a very faint hint of malt. Dry finish. Good mix and crisp, very drinkable.

341 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet citrus aroma with floral hops, caramel malt and resin. Sweet grapefruit flavour with caramel, pine and a dry, bitter, floral hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

On tap at Wild Rose, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out some notes of pine, some metallic notes, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour brings out piney and floral hops, but in a pretty restrained way, with a dry biscuity malt backbone. No residual sweetness here, which is good, but not the most robust IPA. Decent snd well-made, just nothing special.

From my dear brother: Pours a light amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, some citrus, and maybe some pine or something. Taste is pretty bitter at the front with some nice sustain. MInor lingering aftertaste. Not bad.

Bottle, brought back from Canada by Jim - thanks! Pours clear amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is citrus (orange/grapefruit), spruce and pine. Flavor is the same, mildly sweet with earthy notes and a bit of metal. Finish is lightly bitter.
