33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light breadish. Bitter, slight herbal. Yeasty. Dry and bitter. Light herbal dry finish.

Shared by Craftmember. Typical Dutch Bock with irregular, coarse, milky, pale beige head and hazy purplish bronze colour. Aroma of caramel candy, some DSM (cooked green cabbage), white pepper, brown sugar, candied cherry, dried flowers, natural iron (haemoglobin), tea, forest floor, coffee with milk, white pepper, hint of old jenever. Taste starts with dried fruitiness, sweetish, brown sugar touch with a slight sourish edge (dried orange peel), soft carbo with a smooth, somewhat oily texture, very caramelly maltiness, little bit toasted, very subtle coffeeish touch, herbal hop bitterishness in the finish with a clear, gin-like alcohol presence, warming but not burning. The alcohol could have been better hidden and the DMS initially disturbs the balance a bit, but otherwise this is a perfectly decent and tasty Bockbier.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Almost clear dark amber with a moderate light tan swirl atop the glass. Nose is dark malts, fruit rinds, toffee, light roast, must, hint of dried apricot. Taste carries a little more life than the nose, bitter orange, spice, fruit cake, toffee, dates. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.

Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little and airy. Caramel malts. Floral mid. Zippy dried fruits. Touches of sherbet and spice. Light dry finish. Tasty.

Bottle at chrisOs... Deep brown... Thin tan lacing.... Soft sweet toffee malt.. Dark sugers nose... Soft roast... Soft sweet malts... Very fruity

Bottled 33cl Tnx Edo. Dark, almost opaque brown color, small off-white head, some lace. Ginger bread, cardboard, yeast, burned notes in the medicinal nose. Medium-bodied. Licorice, earth, spicey flavor with some alcohol. Not much hops. Homebrewish.

On tap at the Bockbier Festival in Amsterdam. Pours a near clear deep amber with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has lots of notes of bread and dark grain with a touch of leaves. Flavor is similar with earthy bread and leaves and just a hint of sweet grain.

Rather simple bockbeer, falls flat quite quickly. Usual notes of roasted sweet malt.
