Bottle,6%. Almost black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, liquorice, yeast, little dark fruit, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brownwith a beige head. Soft roast and licorice in the nose. Rather light in body, some bitter roast and again quite some licorice and a metallic edge. Surprisingly bitter finish. 080614

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Maximus Stout 6 ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark chocolate, moderate coffee, roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate sweet, roasted and dark chocolate bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140327]

[5/4/14] Draught at Ølbaren in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Roasty aroma of coffee and some chocolate. Bittersweet flavor, roasty with coffee, some dark chocolate and a mild fruity note. Medium-bodied.

Bottle Smag på verden Voldby. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flaor. Chocolate dominating. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Messy beer.

Bottle @ Rooie Dop Brewdungeon. Black coloured with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, bit of liquorice. Flavour is of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice. Medium carbonation, fairly bitter. Finish is fairly bitter and dry.

Bottle, 6%. Weak toast aroma. Black colour, red shine. Good stable rocky light brown head. The flavour is papery with a hint of thin coffee. Sometimes I get a touch of metal, but nothing too serious.
