Trübe haselnussbraune Farbe; feinporige und stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase Nüsse, dunkle Schokolade, leicht würzig, malzig, im Hintergrund eine hopfige Aromatik. Im Mund kraftvoll, viel Malz, Schokolade, moderate Süße, eher milde aber präsente Bittere.

Bottled - koenigs hoeven. A pretty good dubbel that had a sweet taste and a shiny reddish color, actually probably one of the few good dutch-made beers I’ve ever had.

Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle from Noel Cuveliers beer shop in West Flanders. Pours a deep red / brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, red berries, cherries, caramel, chocolate, nuts & hints of spice. Medium body. Smooth finish

0.33 l bottle to a La Trappe glass. Deep brown color, white head. Bread, malts, fruits, sweet alcohol scents and even some hops in aroma. Bread, malts and sweet alcohol in taste. Sweetish palate. Medium to heavy body, soft carbonation.

06-2023 Aromat słodowy chlebowy może trochę przypraw Brązowe klarowne, pian beżowa nawet drobna Nagazowanie średnie, dość lekkie, gładkie. Smak chlebowy, słodki w miarę, goryczka niska tostowa, karmelowe trochę Ogólnie to najlepszy dubel jaki dotychczas piłem, i jak mi żaden nie smakował za bardzo to ten jest pyszny, jest ułożony nie jest szorstki. Polecam i chętnie bym jeszcze spróbował.

dark brown pour, light beige head. aroma of minerals, bready, yeast, dark ripe fruit. flavor was quite bready, and had a large mineral flavor also. this was still quite fruity, and really was like liquid bread. nice stuff.

Pleasant aroma of bread, roasted malts, some spices. Medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Could use a bit more body. Nice dubbel regardless.
