Starts with citrusy smell and golden pour with some head and lacing. Nice grapefruit and pine in hops here. Hay and grassy bitter finish. Average carbonation. Good varied palate. Above average pale ale, reminds me of some of Bellwood’s monogamies. Tap at brewpub.

Bottle pours orange with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor are tart orange and citrus fruit through and through. Either old or very one dimensional.

At the brewery: Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus hops and caramel malts. Taste is much the same. The hops, as I recall, were a bit lemony. Body was pretty nice. It was well-balanced and very sessionable. I was expecting something a little bit different, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large creamy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was light pine and faint vague fruity and floral hops. The flavor was tangy and sweet caramel, bread, fruity hops, and floral hops. The finish was long, bready and hoppy. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours golden amber with a small creamy near-white head. Mild aromas of resin and citrus. Flavor is resin with a touch of citrus sour. The malt is there, but the hops dominate. Sort of a citric bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle. Deep gold body with an off-white fizzy head Aroma of toasted grain, resin, grapefruit and a hint of flowers. the flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, water texture, lively carbonation. Not a lot depth to this beer. It is bitter from the get-go. A little orange juice taste behind the bitterness.
