Collabfest 2019 Sea Buckthorn IPA brewed in collaboration with BrewDog St Andrews and St Andrews Brewery.
A naturally sour IPA with the tartness coming from the sea buckthorn, with additional notes of star anise, unripe mango and hints of pineapple.
Lovely viscous mouthfeel due to the buckthorn berries oiliness. Typically well-balanced and ends with a nice, dry finish.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours cloudy insanely bright orange with a white head. The aroma is earthy, musty, kind savoury, orangey fruits, sea buckthorn, physalis, apricot vibes and tang. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, zingy, sea buckthorn, physalis, mango, apricot, puckering, earthy, musty, kumquat, candied peel and some dull warming spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A crazy fruity sour ipa. Really fun stuff.
