Who is afraid of darkness? Dark beer made with several roasted barley from England and Germany, cocoa nibs, lactose and just a bit of hops. A Milk Chocolate Stout as soft as velvet, that recalls powdered cocoa and barley coffee. Don’t be scared by its colour.

Somewhat gushing to my surprise. Near black with a big, but disappearing tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate with hard roasted/charcoal notes and a faint hint of smoke. Sweet and roasted flavour with some chocolate and coffee notes. Heavily carbonated, too much even after I tried to swirl some out

On tap at In de Wildeman. Black colour, light beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, chocolate, light creamy, berries. Flavour is also less sweet than expected of a Milk stout, hard roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, light milky, bitter roasted finish. Light-bodied. Nice.
