At Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Clear, golden amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, honey and some orange jam. Sweetish, slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey and orange jam, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little resiny and quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Tap at RJ. Slightly too much caramel in this one, overwhelming the hops aromatics. High bitterness and moderate to high caramelly sweetness. Good but over-caramelled.

A hazed dark amber ipa with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, resinous floral hops, treacle, light butterscotch, lightly oxidized, still solid. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, treacle, light butterscotch, light mineral notes, nice and rich. 2 years old bottle from Rome 2016 BB 30-09-16
