L’ambassadrice ! En 2003, nous n’étions encore qu’une jeune brasserie régionale. L’idée de mettre en balance les nombreux esters que produit notre levure, dans nos cuves de fermentation ouvertes, avec l’Amarillo, nouvelle variété de houblon à l’époque, fit de la Triple notre première ambassadrice à l’étranger. Elle est aujourd’hui considérée comme une Triple de référence.

Draught at Pressklubben. Deep golden, slightly hazy, full head. Yeast and pear aroma. Taste of yeast, pear and pepper. Nice bitterness.

75cl bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy golden colour with a large thick foamy white head. Aromas of yellow fruits, bananas and pears with a little bit of floral and herbal notes. Taste has more of the same notes with some added peppery spice and some earthy hop on the dry finish. Medium body with average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Good Triple.

opalescent orange colour, huge, creamy ecru-ish white head; aroma of lemon zesty, hay, floral, some (unripe) fruity, earthy and some yeasty notes; taste has similar notes to the aroma with quite intensive (medicinal-)hoppy and orange peel oily bitterness; good tripel

75cl bottle, shared with Eric in Eecke. Misty gold appearance, large frothy white head. Aroma brings light spice, with moderately sweet yeast expressions. Nice and smooth on the palate with a hoppy bite accompanying a gently sweet tripel profile, drying close. Decent.
