L’ambassadrice ! En 2003, nous n’étions encore qu’une jeune brasserie régionale. L’idée de mettre en balance les nombreux esters que produit notre levure, dans nos cuves de fermentation ouvertes, avec l’Amarillo, nouvelle variété de houblon à l’époque, fit de la Triple notre première ambassadrice à l’étranger. Elle est aujourd’hui considérée comme une Triple de référence.

Clear dark blond beer, huge fluffy to creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, pretty fruity, floral, peaches, yeasty touch, cloves. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty spicy, quite some cloves, some overripe fruits, bit sweet, little bitter. Aftertaste: spicy, cloves, little sweet, some banana. Decent, but not their best.

750 ml. bottle shared. Sampled. Pours a super hazy orange, small white head. Nose is sweet grainy, strong sweetness & caramelized orange. Taste is very sweet malt, honey, caramelized orange, candy sugar, light fruits. Very faint herbs in the back. Super grainy body. Very solid describes this beer well. Very straightforward & satisfactory.

Pours a cloudy orange with a finger ’ s worth of foam, slowly receding foam.
I smell some bread, a bit of sweet malt that also has honey like qualities.
Bread is up front but gives way to sweet and yes, I get honey in the taste as well.
Medium is the word to describe the body and carbonation.
Well, this is quite the tasty treat, easy drinking cuz the alcohol is held in check nicely. I can recommend it.

Dobre i porzadne to piwo w stylu tripel choc tak nie do konca. Ciemniejsze bardziej bursztynowe, zlozone i ciezkie, nie mialo tej ozezwiajacej lekkosci i cytrusowego posmaku co klasyczny klasztorny tripel. Dla mnie to saison i to dobry. Mniejsza piana ale za to bogaty aromat i zwlaszcza tresciwy smak. Piwo calkowicie naturalne i niefiltrowane, Podobaja mi sie te stylistyki etykiet tego micro browaru. Polecam

Smells of light coriander, some oak and Belgian yeast. Light florals. Pours murky brown with good head and lacing and a little residual sediment. Soft carbonation. Finishes with light sweetness. A well-rounded tripel but not among the best I’ve had. Bottle.

"La Rulles Triple", Flasche (75 cl) von Bier Tempel, 2012/2013. - Honiggelb, leichter Orangeton. - In der Nase Kandis, Bitterorange, massives Malz. - Schwere aber maßvolle getreidige Süße, kräftige Orangenschale (mit Aprikose), daneben dezente Gewürznoten (Ingwer). Anfangs schaumig rezent, aber dies ist ein Bier, bei dem auch am nächsten Tag der schale Rest aus der angebrochenen Flasche noch großartig schmeckt. Wunderbar, wie die köstliche Orangenbittere nahtlos in eine fruchtig-herbe Hopfenbittere übergeht - das Bier beginnt wie ein Tripel und endet ähnlich wie ein IPA. Trockenes Finish, langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Großartiges, fruchtiges und erstklassig gehopftes Tripel.
Neuverkostung: 75-cl-Flasche von Belgoshop.de, 4.7.2026. - Die obige enthusiastische Bewertung aus meiner Frühzeit kann ich ohne weiteres so stehenlassen: das Triple überzeugt mich noch so wie vor 14 Jahren.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 75 cl. bottle @ the bungalow, bought @ the local Delhaize supermarket.
Hazy amber with a white head. Fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet taste and a faint hop presence. Not as good as the other La Rulles beers in my opinion but still decent.

Refrigerated 75 cl green bottle poured into a trappist glass. Pours hazy deep golden with medium white head. Aroma is light skunk, medium body, medium carbonation, medium small bubble lacing. Taste is skunk, citrus, yeast, spicy (mainly coriander), with herbal hop balance, and slightly bitter finish. Skunked, damnit.
