Busy Sunday after a nice bike ride. With bread, goat cheese and pate.
Dark cherry colour.

Barwa ciemno brązowa z lekkimi rubinowymi refleksami. Piana beżowa, wysoka i długotrwała. Przez chwilkę ładnie krążkuje, ale ostatecznie tworzy spienione nacieki.
Aromat ziemisty, piwniczny, nieznacznie palony z bardzo delikatnymi nutami kawowymi i akcentami suszonych, ciemnych owoców. Intensywność aromatu średnia w dół.
Dopiero smak, tak naprawdę wydobywa to, co kryje w sobie to piwo. Palność jest wyraźniejsza, jest więcej kawy, są nuty gorzkiej czekolady z odrobiną orzechów, kakao. Smak generalnie jest wytrawny z goryczką o charakterze palonym, kawowym z kwaskowym, owocowym tłem.
Alkohol idealnie schowany. Wysycenie średnie plus. Tekstura przyjemnie gładka, miękka. Ciało pełne, nieco "podkręcone" wysyceniem. Posmak wyraźny, długi, wytrawny.

Bottiglia. Il gusto naso viene attratto dal cioccolato e dal fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è normale è in modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore e caratterizzato da una schiuma cremosa e dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è ebano scuro. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta il segni di caramello , miele, cioccolato, liquirizia, agrumi, arancia, mandarino e frutta passita.

Bottle, gift. Dried fruits upfront with spicy yeast, brown malts, leaves, figs, dark & red fruit nuances, spicy notes, candy sugar. Fairly sweet flavour, light bitter. Above medium body. Good, sweet but I appreciate the fruity notes in the aroma.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: This Quadrupel have an clear dark brown colour with red glow. Dry bitter with some sweetness and burning booze that is well hidden taste. Hints of caramel, berries en dried plums.

0,33 l bottle. Pours brown with beige lasting head. Aroma of caramel, malt, spices. Taste is medium sweet, with a hint of vinous sourness, bitterness is low. Flavour of caramel, plums, sweet spices, alcohol is well hidden. Body is medium carbonated. Finish is nice and long biter-sweet, dried fruit.
