Bottle. Pours pitch black with a thick light brown head. Aromas of smoke, licorice, milk, vanilla, slight fudge, some caramel, sweet chocolate, some coffee. Taste is pretty vanille up front, some sweet milk chocolate, slight smoke, slight roast, some malt and some dry bittersweet coffee in the finish. Not a bad milk stout but too thin for me.

Tap at Mikkeller bar, Århus, DK. Balck with a minimal lightbrown head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Sweet with a light bitter coffee finnish. Medium/full bodied.

Keg at Craft. Dark brown, thick creamy golden head. Aroma is roasty, bit burnt, malty, touch of spice. Taste is more milky, lots of coffee bitterness, bit of dark choc, vanilla/dairy creaminess lurking in the background. Feels quite full on. Initial spiciness then mellow roasty and milky finish. Further down, creaminess becomes more apparent. Nice.

Bottle. Malty aroma, roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, light chocolate and nutty notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty bitter sweet finish. Good.

Thuis uit een flesje. Zwat van kleur, prachtig, met goed bruin schuim. Geurt al lekker, volle krachtige smaak en een heerlijke nasmaak. Lekker zoetje, maar niet te zoet. Perfecte stout.
