Cask @ Caley Sample Rooms, Edinburgh 291012
Butterscotch yellow, very hazy, frothy bubbly head
Aroma of sweet pineapple, mango, soft grapefruit citrus hops, sweet fruity malts
Taste - Bitter zesty hops, touch of grassy hops, bitter grapefruit zest, background of sweet juicy pale malts, touch of resins, tasty, lots of flavour
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body, somewhat oily. Finish as main flavour with a nice soft lingering bitter zest. Just a little thin on the palate.
Overall - Great quite complex hoppy beer.

Euston Tap. Hazy gold beer, good white head. Soft palate - smooth. Mild fine carbonation. Creamy malt base. Mildly skunky hops. Floral tones with mild citrus - soft tangerine. Whisper of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Mild minerals. Finishes smooth and fresh. Very soft and smooth. Nice hops!

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tubs, Bristol 12/10/2012. Slightly hazy yellow with a slight white head. Tropical fruit and lime aroma with some heavy, grassy hops. Flavour had lots more fruit, some cereal malts and led to a dry, slightly astringent finish. Ok.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton. It pours cloudy light yellow, with a medium white head. The nose is white grape, resin, straw, grass, orange, tangerine, mango and even some bubblegum. The taste is pithy citrus, grapefruit, zesty tangerine, white grape, straw, grass, resin, dough and light spice, with a very dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Crisp, refreshing and pretty damn tasty.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours a very light hazy yellow with a tight, white cream head. Buckets of pissy, semi-dank NZ hops in the nose, some melon. Light to medium sweet flavor with sweaty grass, rich tropical fruits, pee. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Moderately sticky finish with great, dank bitterness, grapefruit, some urine, pineapple, grass. Not at all abrasive. Smooth, well rounded hop character. Pretty damn exceptional on every level. This is the UK’s answer to the best stuff coming out of the USA, and more specifically VT. Awesome beer.
