Another disappointing beer from this brewery. There is nothing imperial or special about this beer. Typical light UK hopping, with the same biscuity, slightly bready, slightly yeasty malt profile all the beers from wychwood have. Boring.

Bottled (thanks KS). Reddish amber colour, with a small off-white foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet toffee with some floral, wooden and mild earthy notes. Flavour is sweet malts, toffee, some floral, mild ripe fruits as well as some biscuity tones.

Bottle from beers of Europe. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Off-white head. Nose - cake, caramel, orange. Taste - more caramel with cake again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Would've liked a bit of either malt biscuit-ness or a zesty hop on the finish. Overall - decent.

0,5 bottle.
Another witch stuff. Ruby red color, nice quilted foam. A tough guy on the label :) Smells more roasted ale-malate, weakly hopy, restrained. Delicious, slightly watery, basic ale beer. Basic taste of a caramel malt, slightly sweet ale, not too much hops. A little yeasty, I would think of it as a simple real English pub drinking ale. Worth a drink :) Nice beer.
***
