Goliath: The Beer to slay a mighty thirst.

A full bodied & robust ruby bitter brewed with Pale & Crystal Malts, with a rich malty taste & a hefty wack of Fuggles & Goldings hops, just the beer to slay that thirst...

Light hops, craramel malts, typical nose from a beer from his brewery. Lightly sweet breadiness. Very soft carb, refreshing mouthfeel. I could see this being a decent session ale but its a little watery and boring.

Bottle from Home & Bargain A generically malty nose, followed by a pour which is mid-amber with a small transient white head. In the mouth there are malts, biscuits grain and corn. Finish is slightly bitter – do I detect some hops ?! Eminently swiggable, instantly forgettable.

Nothing special, not a lot of taste, even for a mild beer. I looks brilliant, but the bitterness isn't especially desirable. D&S Dresden

500ml bottle into shaker. From ALDI, Riverwood. Nose of peppery grass and fruit. Copper coloured with foamy white head. Light carbonation. Some patchy lacing. Light body, easy drinking. Flavour is caramel malt, finish is more of the same with touches of dough and pepper. Standard bitter, a bit more flavourful than some.
