330 ml. can @ home. BBF 27/02/2016. Great label as usual from these guys. Hazy bright golden corn, very big creamy white head, collapsing. Nose is weird lemony sweetness with mild hops, sweet buttery white bread, white sugar, cornbread, candy, perfume. Taste is oddly buttery forward with corn & cornflakes, bread, white sugar, cornbread, lemony taste, some perfume, low hops buried in the back, some yeast, lemongrass, dash lemon peel, faintly sour (very low). Buttery body with light yeast. Tad lively carbonation. This one is a bit lost on me, far too butter forward,… This might actually be my least favourite Beavertown offering to date,… The current explosion of dull Belgians (ocassionaly with odd ingredients or supposedly novel treatments) promoted as hip & new saison is becoming a tad exhausting for me even if I keep falling for it especially when breweries that I like – like here – are part of it.

Can. Sweet, peppery and citrusy with a touch of knäckebröd. Drinkable but a bit too perfumed. Not very true to the style.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien, shared by me. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells fruity, citric, oranges, light spices, grass, herbs, a bit acidic. nice smell. light body, medium carbonation, light mouthfeel. tastes citric, sour herbs, spices, some grass. finishes light with light bitter / sourness from grass and herbs. very nice and refreshing. quite good beer, drinks very easy.

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Hazy gold pour with a fluffy white head. Wheat, lemongrass and vanilla in the aroma. More lemongrass in the flavour with a splash of warm spice. Citrusy zing in the finish. Good stuff.

Trübes dunkel goldgelbe Bier mit einer schönen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr würzig hopfig, Kräuter, leicht hopfig. Geschmack trocken hopfig, grasig, mild bitter, angenehme Würzigkeit.

Little cloudy blond to orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: caramel, some exotic fruits, ripe mango, passion fruit, malty, yeast, sweet. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty fruity start, peaches, some citrus, sweet malts, some caramel. Aftertaste: bit spicy, yeast, grass, citrus, sourish touch.
