Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Lovely funky aroma, a dry yeastiness and some flowery hops. Light-bodied, very dry, very fruity - a little high in carbonation. Solid hop dose but never overpowering. A very pleasant and drinkable session Saison. 200515

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Cloudy gold with a medium white foam. Aroma of passion fruit, floral, herbs, saison yeasts, esters, good. Flavour is medium bitter, dry and clean in the end, easy to drink. Low body, watery, high carbonation. Nice.

Big white head. Clear yellow body with fast carbonation. Spicy citric cedar wood aroma with mealy notes. Dry resiny strawy fruity taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry papery spicy aftertaste with herbal notes. It’s ok, but low on flavour and too dry and sharp. (0.33l bottle, forget where from.)

Beavertown’s Quelle Dry-hopped Saison is a can I picked up in Rome, one of the few cans of craft beer I saw there. Served in a tulip. It pours a deep gold with a huge fluffy white head that leaves spidery lacing behind. Great nose, funk, spice & hops - yum. Very sharp carbonation on a light body with a super dry finish(dryer than any Asahi!). Crisp & refreshing, spice, funk, a touch of metallic Brett like character, some cream ale notes and soft hoppiness. Good stuff.
