Keg at the Waterloo Tap. An attractive deep copper coloured pour with a tight cream head; a sour fruity grainy aroma, odd but pleasant; smooth caramel taste - not too sweet, with a slight nuttiness; and a lingering treacle toffee finish. Smooth, full-bodied and satisfying.

Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash, 2016. Poured a clear medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is light biscuit yeast, light malt, some citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light sweet malt, woody hop, light fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap @brewery
Clear amber color, small white head. Light caramel and grain in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramel, fruits, low bitterness. Nice, probably good drink with food.

Keg at the brewery, as ’Vienna Lager’, 04/04/15. Golden amber with a well appointed beige covering. Nose is sweet maltings, caramel, vanilla essence, mellow fruit tunes. Taste comprises carmael, toffee apple, mellow fruit rinds, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of spice. Decent well balanced vienna - it meant something to me !

The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, light spice, wood, leather, pepper, brown bread, cereal and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent enough vienna.
