Descrizione: Birra ad alta fermentazione, non pastorizzata, non filtrata, rifermentata e affinata in fusto e bottiglia.
Aspetto Visivo: Di colore dorato, con schiuma bianca, pannosa e persistente.
Sentori Olfattivi: Aroma fresco ed aggressivo con pompelmo ed aghi di pino in evidenza più un tocco di frutta tropicale.
Corpo e Gusto: Al palato c'è un imbocco lievemente biscottato seguito da una alternanza di pompelmo e frutta tropicale più evidente allo scaldarsi della birra. L’amaro è netto, tagliente e persistente. Il tenore alcolico benchè alto risulta poco avvertibile. La Sunny Side è volutamente secca e moderatamente carbonata per invogliare la bevuta.
Abbinamenti Consigliati: Il classico abbinamento della American IPA è con le fritture, e la Sunny Side non è da meno: ottima se affiancata a un bel fish and chips, o anche a fritture di mare o semplici patatine fritte. Si abbina molto bene a pesci saporiti come il salmone ma anche a carni succulente. Da provare insieme alla cheescake, di cui esalta il sapore grazie agli aromi fruttati sprigionati dal mix di luppoli utilizzati in dry hopping.

Bottle from Yolo Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big tropical fruit, light alcohol, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry, crisp mineral, fruity, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the IP2 bottle share, bought at Domus Birrae, central Rome store when it was still open there. Pours cloudy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of hop, citrus and tropical fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Decent brew.

330 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Light hazy orange color with white to off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, grass, pine,grapefruit citrus. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

[ As Eastside SunnySide ].Light unclear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, sweet malt, fruity hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap at So Good in Rome-Italy. Cloudy golden a bit pale, medium and creamy white head. Nose: sweet tropical pulp, orange, apricot. Mouth: creamy a bit, ripped fruit, moderate bitterness, jam like hell. Tasty.

On tap at Open Baladin, Rome. Pours hazy orange with medium white head. Quite hoppy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, juicy, resinous, peach. Moderate sweetness with strong bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very good!

Draft @ Barborteur Beerdays #1, 14.5.2016. Dorée/orangée, col crémeux blanc tenace. Arôme au nez fruité, agrumes, fruité perce en rétro-nasal apportant un petit côté pin voire résineux. Palais est léger offrant de belles notes d’IPA; agrumes, pointes vertes, citronné et herbacé sur un fini sec avec une pointe de résineux et une amertume persistante.
