A crisp golden ale with a slight amber finish, from a small amount of crystal malt. The Fuggles and East Kent Goldings hops, produce a very drinkable, smooth and refreshing beer with slight caramel notes.

Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. A golden orange coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is sugar, caramel, spicy hop, hedgerow berry. Flavour is composed of sweet caramel malts, hedgerow, hawthorn, tangy apple, and hints of cinnamon. Assertive rough bitterness. Palate is Semi sweet, highish carboantion. Meh.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer evening ] - ABC Beers, Korte Koediefstraat 5, Den Haag, Netherlands 2511CE. [ As Indigenous Foragers Gold ].Clear medium orange to yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, sweet malt, fruity, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, yeasty, fruity, vegetables, messy. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20150924]

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. An amber colour with a ring of white head; aroma of ripe dessert apples; orchard fruit taste with lots of English hops; then a dry finish with a prolonged fresh leafy bitterness. A solid bitter - and not "twiggy" at all.

[9/24/15] Bottle sample at the pre-Borefts tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone who shared bottles! Deep golden. Aroma of honey, some fruitiness, stale malt, caramel. Sweet flavor, with stale malt, caramel, a bit of honey, a bit of fruitiness, and a bitterish finish. Light-bodied.

Pre Borefts Tasting at ABC Beers, Den Haag. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry with mild fine carbonation. Dry papery pale malts. Bitter floralness. Tangy citrus. Papery and dry finish. Bleh!

Bottle split at the ABC Beers pre Borefts tasting, 24/09/15. Golden blonde with a moderate off White covering. Nose is apple, straw, earthy, twiggy. Taste comprises mellow fruit, straw, biscuit, muddled. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair ... twigometer is rising on this vote low boos golde.

Bottle at ABC Beers Pre-Borefts tasting, The Hague. Pours hazy orange with a ring white head. aroma of herbs, light fruits, light bread and perfume/floral notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to light medium bodied with soft carbonation.
