Thx! for sharing kermis. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2015. Brown, little tanned head. Nose is dark bread, mocha, candy, lightly herbal, pleasant. Taste is herbal, light roasted bread, touch tobacco, caramel, brown sugar, light herbal bitterness,… Herbal, mocha bread body. Interesting & quite nice. Good stuff.

At the multi-national tasting held in Rome-Italy on 29/08/2015 (Jow, Mortlach, ippopotamo36 and Marco). Bottle courtesy of Riko. Pours an almost chestnut skin color, cloudy with a ivory tick head. Nose: caramel notes, sweet licorice root, grounded barley for infusion. Mouth: too gassy, rye mixed with candy sugar. Strange but tasty. It reminds me of barley-coffee.

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, overripe dark fruit, light fudge and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Hazy red-brown color, average sized off-white to beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, caramel, earthy, a bit bready and sweet. Average to medium body and carbonation. Decent beer.

Muddy brown with a fizzy beige head. Nose is smoked rye and nutty. Tastes of rye, nuts, root beer, quite spicy, herbal, some licorice. slightly oily texture with a lingering finish of spice. unusual

Bottle from trade with Douberd, many thanks! Trübe dunkel orangebraune Farbe, sehr große bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch nach dunklem Malz, schokoladig, Karamell, brauner Zucker. Geschmack karamellig, Schokoladig, viel Roggenmalz, leicht bitter hopfig.

330ml bottle, batch 106, kindly shared by djoeye. Hazy red-brown coloured body. Fair fawn-coloured head. Poor lacing. Dark malty nose, earth and bread. Dark malts and dried fruity flavours, woody. Drying bittersweet, malt driven ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (Tromsø 27.07.2015).
