Tap at Kompaan (Uiltje tap takeover). Very dark but clear brown with warm hue. Nice creamy mid-tan head. Slightly sour grains, light gluey, oak wood, port, juniper, sugarcane. Light sour over chocolate sweetness and light spiced bitterness. Under medium body with quite some carbonation. Watery texture.

Tap at Kompaan. Very dark brown with sticky beige head. Some chocolate, lots of red berries, sour dried cranberries, some juniper berries, fake sweet milk chocolate. Light sweet and almost medium sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty good actually even though it’s sour.

[ As Kompaan 45 Vrijbuiter (Vintage Filliers BA) ].Unclear medium brown - red amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, barrel, wood, apple. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart, apple, caramel, wood, barrel, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150924]

Draft at Kompaan. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of jenever and oak barrel notes coming out strongly with booze, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a slightly thin mouthfeel and very soft carbonation.
