On tap @ ChiareScure Festival, Milano 2018.

Light amber, moderately hazy. A quite dense white head shows pretty good retention and nice lacing. A rather interesting, though not especially strong, hop profile, overcoming a light grainy/hayish base: mango, white grapes, lighter floral hints, a hint of resin. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma, but there's also a rather strong tannic/astringent feel. It's not overwhleming, but definitely too much to be appropriate, and it kind of 'drowns' the hop profile. Medium sweetness and quite high bitterness, with a bitter edge in taste and an excessively dry/astringent finish and aftertaste (as already mentioned). Medium body, average to high carbonation; a decently lively mouthfeel. Meh.

2nd August 2020. Bottle at Masseria Susafa, near Vallelunga, Sicily. Pours clearish, aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Assertive bitter citrus and grapefruit in the taste and pith, pine, tropical fruit. Lovely IPA

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, grapefruit, some pineapple, biscuity pale malty background, tropical fruity hoppy overtones. Taste is initially sweet-ish, biscuity pale malty as well as piney and citrusy fruity, notes of lemon and grapefruit, some pineapple, permanently increasing bitterness leads to a lingering, dry and bitter, minimally mineral finish. Crisp, very clean, highly drinkable - paradigmatic West Coast IPA.

Draught, 6.3%. Good dusty hop aroma. Hazy golden colour. Creamy white head. The flavour is dusty and quite fruity. High and clean bitterness. A clean beer, and quite refreshing.

Medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, citric, grassy, pines, peppery, bit herbal. fininishes rather bitter with notes of earth, citrus and some grass.
