The Brits coined the term "session," but beer-brewing countries have been crafting their own versions of these flavorful, low-gravity beers for centuries. Brewed in the traditional, Belgian Saison style, our interpretation is refreshing and dry with a spicy yeast character and floral hop aroma.

Can at home. Aroma is spicy peppery saison yeast, berries, fruity notes, peachy, touch of floral and bubble gum. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Body is light to medium. Enjoyable.

Draught and cans since debut.
Clear, light, straw-golden with some deeper brass tones and a medium-sized, white head showing moderate retention.
A bit sweet and cereal-heavy, with hay, honey, biscuit, dough and tons of fruity esters. Tons of apple, pear, lemon and peach. No alcohol or flaw.
Soft and malty in the mouth with medium attenuation, but could be stronger. Lots of honey, dough, whitebread and cereal with white pepper, yellow fruit and apple esters and a medium, somewhat loose carbonation. I don't think it's THAT sweet, but it could stand to be a lot more dry, especially for its size. Not all that saison-like, is my biggest complaint. Just kind of lightly hoppy, fruity, belgian pale ale.

Sweet and fruity. Classic Alex saison, sticky, sweet, poorly attenuated and with nothing else much positive to offer.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma of dry grassy yeast, malt and mild pepper. Taste has dry yeast, sweet ester, malt, mild pepper and a herbal grassy note. Allright.

Can from ABC Beers. Pours nearly clear orange with a big off white head. Aroma of big peppery saison yeast, citrus, a light funk, light fruits and some dull malts. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Can @ home. Clear yellow to light orange color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves good lacing. Smell and taste moderately malty, a hint of orangepeel, yeast, some fruitpeel bitter and a slight touch of (bitter) hops. Decent body and carbonation.

355 ml. can @ train. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. Bottle of the can says 03/12/15 – not sure if bottled on or bbf. Drank straight from the can. Appears to be quite pale golden as far as I can see. Taste is a bit weak, mineral, boring apple, which sugar, touch watery, almost a bit industrial tasting, some hay, light grass. A touch watery, sparkling & mineral body. Rather weak but one that can be easily pounded.
