A Lindy Hop is what is commonly called a "white beer" that is to say brewed with wheat malt. Unlike most beers of this type, Lindy Hop has nice citrus notes, mainly lemon, brought by the work of hops. The finish offers a slight tonic and surprising bitterness

bottle from Illkirch-Graffenstaden! Hazy golden with a tall white head - doesn’t look like the classic witbier. Aromatic hoppy nose. Light-bodied, shy but good malty background delivering good hoppy flavours, resiny and with tropcial fruit, a shy yeasty hint is also detectable. Pleasant carbonation, smooth and velvety. A good one!

Hazy straw yellow colour, tall loose fluffy white head, half-way lasting, patchy lacing. Aroma wheat, orange, lime, lemonbalm, coriander, yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, wheat, citrusy, grass, peppery. Dry bitter aftertaste, fruity, herbal notes, light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite hoppy for a witbier, nice.

330ml bottle. Murky, orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, fruity, yeasty spicy, herbal and slightly wheaty aroma, notes of sage, white pepper, lychee. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, herbal, floral, grassy, minimally wheaty and fruity, moderately peppery yeasty, notes of sage, a touch of quince and lychee, subtle sweetness. Nicely dirty and chaotic.

Bottle from Angoulleme, I forgot from where exactly. Golden colour. Lots of spices though not cleanly traditional. Also more body than needed, seems rough and some high alcohols. Good but not stellar.

Bottle from Cave a Bulles. It’s a foamer. Pour is gold with a huge creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruit with a zest aspect (this through a lot of foam). Med body. Cause of the heavy, foamy carbonation, likely Flavor is zest, citrus. Pretty hoppy for a wit! Maybe getting earthy in the finish, and it’s well towards dry.

Cloudy pale golden color with a high white head with good lacing and perfect lasting. High carbonation when opened. Aroma has citrus notes with yeasty hints. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning with wheaty notes and light bitterness in the final
