This is the big brother to our session porter, Amoor. We tried a new hop with a suggestive blueberry characteristic that people started using in pale ales, but we thought it could be more fantastic as a pairing with a richer, slightly stronger porter. We always strive to B-Moor, and you should, too.

Cask at Euston Tap. Almost black with brief, beige head. Roasted with some grassy and earthy chocolate, a little bit of green leaves, dark fruits and mint. Nicely packed with flavor. Like it!

Can 33 cl from Vinmonopolet Tromsø. Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and some dark fruit. Sweet with a chocolate and dark fruit finnish. Bb. 11.2018, the beer was ttaken from the chelves because of date, but no problem here.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Lasting, creamy fawn-coloured body, patchy lacing, a deep ruby glint to a near-black body. Roasted dark malty aroma joined by pine and wood, very promising. Well blended taste of dark bread, wood and pine needles, some berries far behind. Nicely roasted bitter ending. Smooth in the mouth. Fine depth. Well made porter. (Tromsø 04.03.2018).

Boks 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Svart. (Så vidt gjennomskinnelig dyprød). Medium høyt mokkafarget skum som daler veldig sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av sjokolade & bær. Smaken lakris & tørr sjokolade. Metall lurer i bakgrunnen.

Draft. A black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and a bit of citrus fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, raisins, and a bit of citrus fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml can. Dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma has roasted malts, fruity hops, coffee, chocolate, pine. Taste of roasted malts, berries, fruity and piney hops, coffee, chocolate, bittersweet. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Than can does mention blueberry cheesecake and to be honest I didn't really get any of that at all. Nonetheless it's a fantastic porter, in fact this amount of hoppiness you could almost say it's a black IPA

Can: Murky-brown with an off-white head; dried fruits, chocolate and coffee in the bitter-sweet nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour with a very mild acidity, medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering drier fruity (blueberries? really?) and coffeeish finish with a robust bitter tail and a delicate alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Nice, nice...
