Compagna di momenti speciali, Amber Shock sprigiona un bouquet di aromi inaspettati e seducenti. Conviviale, allegra, provocante: se si indugia nella sua dolcezza ipnotica, è facile perdere la cognizione del tempo e dello spazio.

Bottled @ home. BBF 30-4-10, nr 401. Slight hazy amber color, medium off-white head. Aroma has dried fruit, nuts, caramel and toffee, cookie and biscuit. Quite strong in aroma. Full bodied, quite a lot of biscuit and caramel, but also a decent amount of bitterness. Not extremely sweet or dry, but quite full bodied, and yes even a bit creamy I’d say. Not the typical dunkler bock and I wouldnt even describe it in such a style (dont know what it would fit in better tho). Fact is that I definitely enjoy this brew on an autumn day :-)

750 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Amber colour, moderate head. Moderate aroma of berries, toffee and dust. The flavour is fairly malty with some sweetness, notes of berries and maybe some toffee again, moderate hops in the finish, hints of resin and dust. Not a "shock" by any stretch of the mind, but decent enough.

Bottle. Dark orangey brown beer with a deeply malty and mildy dry aroma. The flavour is rich and mildly sour with a dry finish. Overall a nice’ish beer.

Bottle that I picked up at Esbjerg Bottle shop, Denmark, Sept 2008. Pours amber as the name suggests but with a tiny bit of orange hazyness with good white head. Slight sour yeastyness, quite fruity, bit sweet, its ok but nothing great. A6 A3 F7 P3 OV14

Cloudy amber with a thick off-white head. Cooked vegetables overwhelms the nose, with some malt and caramel behind it. Sweet with a little alcohol and some grass flavour. The DMS certainly ruined my experience.
