(Draught at Lemke Hackescher Markt, Berlin, 23 Aug 2017) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, toffee, citrus, black-currant and grapefruit. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, orange peel, grapefruit, treacle toffee and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA. Nice one.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, peach, nectarine, mirabelle, piney and citrusy overtones, some mandarine and orange. Taste is initially bitter hoppy, chalky, mineral, sweet fruity middle part, chalky and bitter finish. Doesn't work over full distance.

Keg at the brewpub Berlin. A mostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a a sticky beige head. Aroma is hot alcohol, toast malts, pine needles, burnt orange peel. Flavour is composed of sticky caramel toffee malts, pine needles, woody pine notes. Palate is medium full big sticky hop moderate carbonation. Chewy old school ipa.

*Bottle from Rudat. Grassy hoppy beginning. Nice floralness with lemon and citrus. Round and refreshing with a moderate bitter aftertaste.

Aus der Flasche im 2017-08 getrunken. Voller Aromen von Grapefruithaut, doch mit dem moderaten Einsatz von Hopfen ist das dann doch beides zusammen mir zu bitter. Schade!

Sampled @ Craftbier Messe Mainz 2016. Klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm grasig hopfig, zitronig bitter. Geschmack mild grasig hopfig, zitronig, leicht trocken, süffig.

Draught in Hopfenreich. Light Amber with a thin head. Aroma of malty hop. Flavour is spicy malt, pepper on the lips, fruity with a nutty bitter finish.
