Pintle is a pale ale brewed with wheat, oats with an addition of flaked barley in the grist to smooth out the body. Whirlpooled and dry hopped with Australian Cascade and Citra, its restrained bitterness and dry finish help maintain Pintle’s all day crushability

440ml can: BB 24th March 2025. Shared with Ant at my place on 22nd September 2024 during a mini-tasting-session. Pale golden body, clean and clear, white crown on each glass. Citrussy front with a mild malty base, better than a lot of the pale golden citra hopped beer that are around at the moment.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, fresh, lemon lime citrus, light pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.3%. BB date 05. Sept. 2021. (Bought in August.) Slightly hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citric hops. The flavour has also notes of citric / grapefruity hops, not very sweet, moderately bitter finish. Okay, but a bit one-dimensional.

440ml can kindly shared by Finn at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Crocheted lacing from a rocky white head, misty amber-gold body. Moderate aroma of citrus with lemon to the fore. Lemony hops to the taste buds, moments of stewed fruits, as well. Refreshing mid-dry fruity ending, quite nice bitter level to it. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Tromsø 14.09.2021)

Nice refreshing stuff. Citrus and easy going. Lots of hops. Feels more like a session ipa maybe.
