Can at The Crown Rivers, Heathrow. Malty aroma with piney hops, caramel, ripe fruits, some grapefruit, toffee, soft rye. Bittersweet flavour. Body is medium. Malty and hoppy, no fruitbomb but nice, stury malt.

Copper colored with a frothy head. Caramel and berry aroma with a floral touch. Taste is bittersweet up front, bitter at the end where the hops take over. Lingering acridity. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent.

330ml can as part of 4 pack. On the cardboard packaging it states its brewed by Marstons at the Banks's address but on the can by Thwaites, Blackburn. Anyway, pours mahogany, small white head, decent lacing. Big aroma of caramel malts. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, orange zest, red berries, moderate bitterness. Moderate to full body. Not bad, better than I thought it would be.

Bottle from Nisa Local, Chester Road, London N19 on 25th May 2020. Pours a deep copper with pale tan foam and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Zesty peel in-mouth with notes of raspberry ripple, tangy fruits and dairy cream. Malty finish with dessert fruits on a biscuit base. Sweet even for an Apa, but actually pleasant and quaffable. Full bodied with an engaging texture.
