Bottle in Sardinia. Light yellow beer with a poor head. Aroma: water. Taste: watery malt with some unidentifiable hop bitterness. From the ingredients it has some corn (!?), Maybe the better idea is to distill it to a bourbon. One of the most boring beers I've had. But, you could drink a lot of it on a hot day in the sun.

Sardinian pale lager from a local brewery owned by Heineken; bottle from Drinks Factory in Mons, where it was one of only a few non-Belgian beers, weirdly. Thick, snow white, lightly lacing, moussy but thinning and eventually opening head on a cristal clear, very pale straw blonde beer with vague greenish tinge. Aroma of wet kitchen cloth, plastic, some wet grass, cooked green vegetables - that old pasteurization odour we all know and love, melting rubber, old popcorn. Neutral onset, some sweetish graininess with a thin soapy edge to it, fizzy carbonation, light sourish undertone, very light and bit glueish body, some minerally aspects from the carbonation; not much else happens further on, apart from a vague plastic-like note in the finish as well as a late grassy-bitterish hop touch, but clearly much too subtle even for a standard pale lager. Reminded me a bit of Heineken - now I see why, the recipe is probably not very different from that of the owner's flagship lager. Thin, grainy, 'empty' and very bland, this is no good even for its hopeless style, just another boring industrial pale lager, completely unremarkable in the vast ocean of similar lagers populating the planet. Too bad Sardinia isn't a separate country (or region) tick: this would have been useful only if Italy would be the next country to be split up into regions...

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have mild grains. It's a basic but inoffensive lager.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Golden with a medium white head. Sweetish with bread, some light fruit and hints of grass. The body was light and the finish medium bitter. A boring one.

Shared 500 ml can at local tasting. Very pale golden colour, large white head. Industrial perfumed aroma, hints of candy. Tolerable pilsener flavour, some sweetness, some bittering hops.
