Pours a thick, near black body with a thin off-white head that laces in impressive sheets. Chocolate, cream and some hot peppers in the nose. The cinnamon pops first in the taste profile, with the milk chocolate and hot peppers growing with time. Then the peppers really take over the show. Other sub-plots include vanilla, butter and some dark berries. I like it, but it could use a bit more balance.

Canned. Creamy browb to black pour. Spicy chilies and milk chocolate. Pretty good stuff

Bottle at home. Pours jet black with a handsome beige head. Nose is chocolate, malts, earthy notes and a spicy touch. In taste it’s chocolate upfront then some earthy notes and a huge spicy kick that lasts well into the finish too. Light body, soft to average carbonation. Wouldn’t be bad, but too thin and the spicyness could be tuned down a bit too.

Bottled. Black colour small beigeish black foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolate, some toffee, mild alcohol, liquorice and some dried fruits. Flavour is dried fruits, figs, some chocolate, mild roast, and also a bit toasted toffee with some mild tones of alcohol.

(Bottle) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, vanilla, black rye bread and hints of smoke and chilli. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, vanilla, black bread, liquorice, some cinnamon, a light smoke touch and a finish with a gentle cacao bitterness and a mild chilli bite. Almost full body, sweet. Tasty and complex, still in good balance. Solid and well made. Very nice.

Can. Morrison’s. Nitro job. Looks awesome tbh. Nose has smoky chilli. Some caramel chocolate. Taste is dry and a little earthy. Hint of roasted chilli and pepper sweetness. Nitro body is a bit too smooth and flat. Lingering smoked chilli finish. Hard going.

Backlog from 2019. Nitro pour is near black with the characteristic big, dense head. It s like milk chocolate with some cinnamon. It tastes sweet with lots of chocolate and a peppery finish. Medium bodied. Probably full bodied without the nitro, but to me nitro always make a beer seem lighter bodied.
