Can (9/10/20) from The Lazy Dog Beer Shoppe. Appearance is hazy dark brown/ruby red with light sparkle, finger-width khaki head with poor retention and mild soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted coffee and chocolate with mild bitterness. Taste is strong roasted malt and coffee (slightly burnt) with chocolate--a perfect chocolate-covered espresso bean! Chicory flavor comes through as well. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, it does exactly what it sets out to do and does it well.!

Canned 10/23/19. Dark brown with a bit of red through it, some dense, creamy foam. Smells a bit roasty, and coffee like. Right thickness for the ABV, smooth. Great bunch of coffee thrown in, which works well. Hint of caramel, some roast. Tasty beverage.
